Well, I had enough problem with soldering tinny SMD parts, especially when removing them. Sometimes I damaged the PCB when trying to remove SMD components or was unable to remove simple components like resistors from multiple layer PCBs.
When I learned something during my 35 years work experience, then it saves time and nerves when you use the right tools. No matter if using screwdrivers or any kind of machinery. Unfortunately this comes at a hight cost.
As this time, when I decided to get a better soldering device, the ELSA iCon Vario 2 which makes it easy to solder items with air or remove components with vacuum – and this time it was really expensive, but I am very pleased with the results.
What else happening at the moment?
Still working on an unboxing video regarding the CD555 I’ve got in unbelievable good condition. Thinking of combining them with introducing the EM5555 Battery Pack, the only ever available accessory for the sound machine.
Considering my new job, which take a lot of my time, we are also preparing our wedding which consumes the rest of my spare time. Hence, it will take a wee time until I’ll finish the video… but it will be great, it definitely pays off to wait
