What issues do the sound machine have? As I already stated in another post I have now three of them all showing the same issues. Based on the following four sections I am going to add the current state on the main page.
AM/FM Radio
The radio is working fine. It is possible to receive signals although it is quite hard to get the stereo signal activated. This might be because of old capacitors? However, I am going to replace them anyway. Afterwards we will see if there is any improvement.
Amplifter
The sound is clear and fine. It seems even the speakers are ok but I will check later if there are any signs of age. There is a very loud bass when switching on the device. Need to figure out if we can change this. I can remember that even my own device from 1987 had this issue so it is maybe made by design (a feature lol)
CD-Player
The disc is spinning and returns "Error". The lcd display is basically working. All keys except Start/Stop/Pause are working. Therefore no further tests can be conducted at the moment.
Tape deck
No signs of any life. The lcd screen shows all options. No keys are working nor do they anything. It is not possible to open the lid. At least the led inside in on.
